Flying to East Greenland

The flight Keflavik-Kulusuk (round trip) is booked by PolarQuest and included in your flight and hotel package. When we send out arrival information a few weeks before departure, your flight ticket will be available under "My bookings". Please note that we need your passport name for this flight ticket, please contact us if your booking is not updated with your full name.

Flying to and from East Greenland can be challenging due to weather and other operational requirements. When you land in Kulusuk, your luggage will be transported to the ship by quad bike and trailer. You will land more or less in the wilderness. There are no buses, so we need to walk on a gravel road down to the sea and expedition ship, the walk takes about 30 minutes. Transport to/from the ship will probably be by Zodiacs.

In this part of the world we are completely at the mercy of the weather. It is not uncommon for flight delays to occur, for example due to fog. It is therefore very important that you have not booked connecting flights too close together and always use at least the night(s) included in the flight and hotel package.
