Wednesday 17 October, Black Turtle Cove & Santa Cruz Highlands
Our morning trip with our rubber boats, or "pangas" as they are called here, takes us into the Black Turtle Cove mangrove lagoon. It's like visiting another world. We eat lunch and hike in the highlands of Santa Cruz highlands, among the giant tortoises.
Thursday, October 18, Punta Vicente Roca, Isabela & Punta Espinosa, Fernandina
We visit the wild western islands and travel with our pangas along Isabela's dramatic coast before jumping into the clear waters for snorkeling. Underneath the surface we meet sea gulls, and later we make a landing on the magical island of Fernandina.
