Boo Borsberry-Woods
Guide

Boo eagerly accepted a student exchange to Svalbard in 2016, and what should have been one semester, quickly turned into years in the Arctic. Boo's academic background includes Marine Science, Polar Meteorology, and Polar Oceanography; and she has a particular interest in Sea Ice and Climate.
During her guiding career, her passion for people and the polar regions leads Boo to become a trainer and when not onboard she works as a firearms and powerboat instructor. She is devoted to fostering curiosity and sharing her knowledge and fascination with these historic yet ever changing areas.
Boo has her home base in Evenes, Northern Norway, where she lives a life guided by the Arctic seasons and captivating light. She is a keen birder, photographer and paddler, and spends as much time out in nature with her two young hunting dogs, preferably with skis on her feet.
