As a guide manager at PolarQuest, Mia is responsible for our appreciated guides and puts together the entire guide season. From time to time she also works as a guide both on Svalbard and in Antarctica. She thinks Svalbard is the perfect destination for those who want to take a real break from everyday life and recharge the soul.
Mia started her career at PolarQuest in 2010, working as a coordinator for our trips to Svalbard and Greenland. That same year she visited Svalbard for the first time and fell in love with the Arctic nature.
Mia's greatest passion has always been discovering new places and learning more about the world. She knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the travel industry, and she is still convinced that this is where she belongs! Her own adventurous spirit can be found high up on mountains or volcanoes or deep down in exciting underwater worlds.

As a guide, being out in the spectacular nature is the best of all. It is also important that I, as a guide manager, know all the pieces of the puzzle and know what the job as a guide entails. Going on board M/S Quest is like coming home for me.
